Deloitte, the world's leading and largest consulting firm, is looking for an Actuary to join its actuarial consulting practice.
We are looking for an Actuary with 2-5 years of experience.
The position combines leading and managing a variety of projects in the insurance sector; actuarial consulting, actuarial auditing, implementing regulatory standards and implementing new systems in insurance companies. The position includes aspects of actuarial work, information systems, accounting and business processes, along with integration into strategy projects, data analysis and processing (including AI projects).
The work includes cooperation with other Deloitte teams in Israel and internationally and includes training on dedicated platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support actuarial analyses and deliverables for life and health insurance clients, including:
- Reserving and liability valuation (IFRS 17, US GAAP, Solvency II, or local regulatory frameworks)
- Pricing analyses, product development support, and experience studies
- Cash flow modeling and financial projections
- Provide audit support for actuarial deliverables in various areas of practice.
- Assist in building, validating, and enhancing actuarial models.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Keep current with regulatory, accounting, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Completion of an actuarial studies program with 2-5 years of experience - mandatory
- 2-5 years of experience in life insurance actuarial roles - mandatory
- Experience in actuarial models: RAFM system (Mosses) - significant advantage
- Experience in Reserving and liability valuation (IFRS 17, US GAAP, Solvency II, or local regulatory frameworks) – significant advantage
- Familiarity with products and regulations in Israel: including pricing, information systems, determining reserves - significant advantage
- Good level of English - mandatory
