Our Risk Management team is responsible for conducting client and engagement acceptance, as well as continuance procedures, for a wide range of services and clients both locally and globally.
The role integrates deep research, data analysis, professional judgment, and close collaboration with multiple stakeholders within the firm and across Deloitte's global network, utilizing advanced internal databases and open-source intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep-Dive & Investigative Research (Web Research & OSINT):
- Conducting comprehensive and independent background checks across public search engines (Google), specialized databases, and internal/external systems to verify entity identities, assess reputational risks, and identify potential issues.
- Corporate Structure Analysis:
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, annual reports, and corporate registration documents to map out ownership chains, identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners, and understand corporate relations.
- Data Synthesis & Red Flag Identification:
- Filtering out background noise and separating key facts from irrelevant data to build a concise, focused risk profile highlighting critical findings.
- Regulatory & Risk Management:
- Identifying regulatory issues, reputational risks, and red flags that may impact client and engagement acceptance decisions.
- Conflicts of Interest Clearance:
- Evaluating proposed engagements to identify potential independence or professional conflicts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Managing review processes in close coordination with partners, directors, local engagement teams, and global colleagues across the Deloitte network.
Requirements
- Analytical Mindset: Sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment – Mandatory.
- Information Synthesis: Ability to distinguish critical information from noise and process large volumes of unstructured data into clear, actionable conclusions – Mandatory.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: High level of thoroughness, precision, and accuracy when reviewing complex datasets - Mandatory.
- High-Level English: Strong written and verbal communication and professional writing skills in English (a significant part of the daily work is conducted in English with global interfaces) – Mandatory.
- Business & Corporate Acumen: Basic understanding of corporate structures, ownership types, and familiarity with reading financial/annual reports – Highly Advantageous.
- MS Office Proficiency: Full control of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint – Mandatory.
- Salesforce: Prior experience working with Salesforce – Advantage.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to manage tight deadlines and perform under pressure (the role may occasionally require working beyond standard business hours).
