Risk Consultant

Deloitte, the world’s leading and largest consulting firm, is seeking a consultant for our Risk Management team for Leading Companies in the Israeli and International Markets

The focus is on the financial sector – including banks, insurance companies, credit companies, and more. The role involves diverse work areas such as:

• Liquidity and market risk management
• Credit risk management
• Model risk management, with an emphasis on advanced models in fields like AI, including Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI); this also involves validation and model governance
• Conducting gap analyses, internal audits, business process analysis, developing innovative methodologies, and global benchmarking in the worlds of financial and model risks
• Developing advanced models and supporting cross-organizational projects

The role offers direct work and collaboration with the global firm, including possible integration into international project teams and leading projects with international companies. You will gain exposure to the most advanced practices in risk management and collaborate with industry-leading experts. This is a unique and challenging position that interfaces directly with the worlds of economics and finance.

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution (Master’s degree or experience as an analyst/economist is an advantage)
• Strong writing and document drafting skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• 1–3 years of experience in an analyst or economist role
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and experience in programming (Python, R) – significant advantage
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English (speaking, reading, and writing; native English speakers are an advantage)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and the ability to lead projects and processes with diverse teams
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive approach, innovative thinking, and a “thinking outside the box” mindset

The position is hybrid – combining work at the office and from home.
