A Business Analyst in our Public Sector team works as part of project teams and supports consulting engagements through:
- Collecting, processing, and analyzing information
- Conducting in-depth research
- Preparing professional deliverables
- Building a high-quality, accurate knowledge base
The role enables the team to understand complex issues, identify initial insights, and develop potential directions for the client.
The position combines analytical work with ongoing engagement with professional stakeholders within the client organization. It requires collaboration with multiple organizational units, gathering information and insights from the field, understanding operational processes, and translating them into structured outputs that support decision-making and project advancement.
The role’s complexity stems from the need to quickly learn new subject areas, work with information from diverse sources, operate in a highly collaborative environment, and produce accurate deliverables under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare working materials and professional deliverables for the project team
- Document meetings, interviews, and workshops
- Produce summaries and identify key insights
- Conduct background research and locate relevant information based on project needs
- Work with professional stakeholders within the client organization to collect information, coordinate activities, and advance tasks
- Identify information gaps and raise them with the project team
- Serve as a ministry liaison within the project, working on an ongoing basis as part of the client team, typically in planning and performance-monitoring processes

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field — required
- Interest in the public sector and work that creates social impact
- High motivation to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to quickly learn organizational processes and new subject areas
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative information
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to high-quality deliverables
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and with diverse stakeholders
- Good writing and communication skills, along with the willingness and ability to quickly learn professional standards for developing deliverables
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience working with AI tools
